Observed in the fall, the High Holy Days are the most sacred time of the Jewish year.

On Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, we come together as a community in gratitude in gratitude for our blessings and united in the hope that God will grant us a sweet and good year.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is a time of reflection and soul-searching as we look back on our past year and think about the times we succeeded in doing the right thing, while also remembering the times when we missed the mark. On Yom Kippur, we ask God to forgive our wrongdoings and humbly ask God to help us do better in the coming year.
